Submit an application (ENG)


The consideration of appeals and requests, as well as personal reception of citizens, is an integral part of the activities of the prosecutor's office and is guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine.

The prosecutor's office is aimed at the unconditional adherence to a human-centered approach during the consideration of appeals, which is defined as one of the strategic priorities of its activities.

According to Article 131-1 of the Constitution of Ukraine, appeals can be made to the prosecutor's office:

on issues of pre-trial investigation:

1. by participants in criminal proceedings or individuals whose rights or legitimate interests are restricted during the pre-trial investigation, regarding the conduct of pre-trial investigations of criminal proceedings by pre-trial investigation bodies, procedural guidance in specific criminal proceedings; supervision over covert and other investigative and search actions of law enforcement agencies;

2. on issues of international cooperation during criminal proceedings or interaction with competent authorities of foreign states and international organizations;

3. regarding the support of public prosecution in court;

4. regarding the commission of a criminal offense;

5. regarding the commission of a corruption or corruption-related offense.

on issues of representing the interests of the state in court:

1. regarding the representation of the interests of the state in the budgetary, credit-financial spheres, on issues of state and communal property, land relations, environmental protection, in the field of the state defense-industrial complex;

2. regarding the compensation for damages caused by criminal offenses, and on issues of bankruptcy;

3. in cases related to corruption or corruption-related offenses, as well as in cases concerning the recognition of assets as unjustified and their recovery in favor of the state;

4. regarding representation in the field of child protection.

on issues of supervision over the observance of laws in the execution of court decisions in criminal cases, as well as in the application of other coercive measures related to the restriction of personal freedom of citizens;

At the same time, we draw attention to the fact that the Law of Ukraine "On the Prosecutor's Office" dated 14.10.2014 and Article 131-1 of the Constitution of Ukraine deprive the prosecutor's office of the authority to conduct inspections in the manner of supervision over the observance and application of laws and representation of citizens' interests in court.

To contact the Office of the Prosecutor General, you can submit an appeal:

• by mail to the address of the Office of the Prosecutor General: 13/15 Ryznitska St., Kyiv, 01011;

• through the mailbox at the address: 13/15 Ryznitska St., Kyiv, 01011 (lobby of the administrative building);

• by submitting an electronic appeal in the prescribed form.

(except for appeals and requests from deputies);

• by calling the "hotline" at (044)-200-76-24;

• during a personal reception.

The appeal must include:

1. surname, name, patronymic;

2. the place of residence of the citizen;

3. the essence of the raised issue, comments, proposals, statements or complaints, requests or demands.

The written appeal must be signed by the applicant(s) with the date indicated.

In the electronic appeal, the email address to which the applicant can receive a response, or information about other means of communication with them must also be indicated (the use of an electronic digital signature when sending an electronic appeal is not required).

An appeal that is not formatted according to the specified requirements will be returned to the applicant with appropriate explanations 

A written appeal without an indication of the place of residence, not signed by the author(s), as well as one from which it is impossible to establish authorship is considered anonymous and will not be reviewed.
